Bis vor nicht allzulanger Zeit zeichnete sich der Titel des SPIEGEL dadurch aus, dass er von Illustratoren gestaltet wurde. So entstanden, oft unter dem enormen Zeitdruck einer Deadline, echte Kunstwerke.

Gods and goddesses, their adventures and interactions narated in the ancient texts of the Edda are descriptions of forces and their interaction lively in every individual human being. A fact which basically is overlooked or neglected by almost every modern translation of the original nordic manuscripts. These illustrations try to re-enliven the visions experienced in the inner light of consciousness by the ancient seers of our ancestors.
